Wandsbek' appears in the upper panel above the wage-payment clause 'Gut für Arbeitslohn in Höhe von', with the denomination 'Eine Milliarde' rendered in large Gothic letterpress in deep red across the centre, repeated vertically in smaller type along both lateral margins. A lightly printed central underprint vignette — apparently showing cattle or livestock — occupies the background field behind the denomination text, beneath which a block of legal text, the issue date (Wandsbek, den 15. Oktober 1923), a validity clause (giltig bis 30. November 1923), the company name, and two manuscript signatures appear; a red serial number is positioned at the top. |
