The denomination EINE MILLIARDE MARK is set in large bold letterpress type at centre, with the word GUTSCHEIN arched across the upper border. The lower portion carries a text block in German stating the note is redeemable at the Hauptkasse der August Thyssen-Hütte, Gewerkschaft, Hamborn-Rhein, with an expiry date of 31. März 1924 and an issue date of Hamborn, 15. Sept. 1923, followed by two facsimile signatures and the series designation Reihe W at upper left. |

To the right, a detachable coupon stub carries a six-pointed star vignette with the denomination EINE MILLIARDE MARK repeated in black, alongside a circular embossed control stamp. |
