正面描述	The reverse bears the issuing authority inscription 'STADT NEUSS' at the top, above a large central vignette set within a bold dark cartouche framed by concentric zigzag guilloche borders in black and pale rose-lilac. The denomination 'Eine Milliarde Mark' is rendered in large Gothic blackletter script within the cartouche, divided across three lobed panels. Below the vignette, the series designation 'REIHE 9', a serial number, and the printer's imprint 'L. Schwann · Düsseldorf' appear in a single line; a violet oval stamp to the left extends the note's validity across the entire formerly occupied Düsseldorf district until 1 April 1924.
