| 备注 |
By mid-1993, the Yugoslav successor states were locked in hyperinflationary spirals that made printing presses effectively useless as policy tools. Republika Srpska's monetary arrangements during the war were entangled with the rump Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and this billion-dinar note — issued by the Narodna Banka Republike Srpske but printed at ZIN in Belgrade — reflects that dependence. The political fiction of a separate Republika Srpska central bank coexisted with an almost total reliance on Serbian infrastructure, including the state security printer.
A watermark is the sole security feature, which tells you everything about the note's intended lifespan.
