Norges Banks Seddeltrykkeri operated as Norges Bank's in-house printing works from 1816 until its closure in 2007, one of the longer-running state printing operations in Europe. The facility printed virtually all Norwegian banknotes during that span, a degree of vertical integration unusual among central banks that otherwise contracted work to specialist printers like De La Rue or Giesecke & Devrient.
