Enschedé's involvement is the genuinely interesting detail here: one of Europe's oldest security printers, responsible for genuine euro banknotes among hundreds of other sovereign issues, brought onto a tourist novelty run. The firm has been printing in Haarlem continuously since 1703, which means their security printing pedigree predates the Dutch East India Company's final decades.
