| Opmerkingen |
Memo euros are souvenir issues with no monetary value, sold as collector pieces tied to specific institutions or commemorations. This one was produced for the Oude en Nieuwe Kerk in Delft, where Hugo de Groot — better known internationally as Hugo Grotius — was baptized in 1583 and whose tomb remains in the Nieuwe Kerk. Enschedé printed it, which is worth noting: the Haarlem firm has been producing security documents since 1703 and still prints Netherlands passports, so the production values here exceed what the zero denomination might suggest.
