Opmerkingen

Euro Scope GmbH produced this "0 Memo Euro" as a novelty souvenir item, part of a broader series that dressed fictional regional identities in the visual grammar of actual banknotes. Enschedé in Haarlem — one of the oldest continuously operating security printers in the world, with genuine central bank contracts across multiple continents — lent the physical object a level of production quality that most souvenir notes never approach. The paper, the intaglio-feel printing, and the security-adjacent aesthetics are a direct consequence of that partnership.

Liechtenstein has never issued its own banknotes; the Swiss franc has served as its currency since 1920, making "Fürstentum Liechtensteiner Franken" a denomination that never existed.
