Memo Euros are a Dutch novelty genre — printed-to-specification souvenirs that deliberately mimic banknote aesthetics without being legal tender. Enschedé has produced security-printed material since 1703 and remains one of the oldest continuously operating printers in the world, which lends an odd credibility to what is essentially a tourist keepsake. The Amsterdam Holland edition is one of dozens of city-themed variants in the series.
