| Opmerkingen |
The 0 Euro souvenir program launched commercially around 2015, with Oberthur Fiduciaire producing the bulk of the series for the European market. These notes are legal-tender curiosities in the strictest sense — face value zero, printed to genuine banknote specification, with security features intact but economically meaningless by design.
Vlkolínec is a UNESCO-listed village in the Slovak Carpathians, one of the best-preserved timber folk architecture settlements in central Europe. Its inclusion here reflects the program's pattern of targeting heritage tourism sites rather than national institutions.
