The right half bears a detailed engraved vignette of the Santa Maria dell'Isola church perched atop its dramatic coastal rock promontory at Tropea, rendered in purple tones, with scattered EU stars and a small outline map of Calabria at upper right. At lower right appears the facsimile signature of R. Paille, C.E.O., alongside the 'EURO SOUVENIR' logotype in blue and the serial number prefix SEEN. |

The Mona Lisa appears as a vignette at the far right, and the denomination '0 EURO' is repeated in the lettering alongside printer and country-of-manufacture credits at lower centre. |
