正面描述 Central vignette of a Trabant 601 saloon car fitted with a roof tent, rendered in intaglio-style engraving in purple-violet tones against a guilloche underprint; the legend 'Pension Sachsenruh' appears on the tent body. To the left, a large numeral '0' in letterpress and the EU flag vignette with the series identifier '2020-1'; to the right, a 'LIMITED EDITION 2020' cartouche in dark purple with a spark plug motif, and the 'EURO SOUVENIR' logotype at lower centre. The note carries a serial number prefix XEAK and a facsimile signature of R. Faille, C.E.O.

背面描述 Standard Euro Souvenir reverse layout printed in blue-violet and rose tones over a fine guilloche underprint, with a composite vignette of iconic European landmarks: the Eiffel Tower (Paris) at centre, the Colosseum (Rome) at lower left, the Sagrada Família (Barcelona) at centre-right, and a classical columned structure at far left. Twelve EU stars arc across the upper field. The denomination '0 €' appears at upper left, and the 'EURO SOUVENIR' logotype is positioned at lower right alongside the printer's colour-shift arc device.

备注

The Trabant Museum in Berlin opened in 2014, operating out of a location in Mitte where the car's cult status among Ostalgie enthusiasts was already well established. These zero-denomination Euro souvenir notes have no legal tender status but are produced to genuine banknote specification — Oberthur's involvement is not ceremonial. The hologram strip meets the same physical security standard applied to circulating issues, which is precisely the point: collectors pay a premium for something that feels real.

The Trabi itself was manufactured in Zwickau from 1957 until 1991, its two-stroke engine and Duroplast body outlasting the state that produced it by mere months.
