EuroSouvenir notes are a collector-market product, sold at face value (typically €3–5) as tourist keepsakes with no legal tender status anywhere. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to genuine banknote specification — correct paper, security thread, and UV features — which is partly the point: the tactile experience of handling something that feels like real currency is the product itself.
Toul's cathedral, a Gothic structure whose west facade was completed only in the eighteenth century after several hundred years of interrupted construction, is a logical subject for this format. The note exists because it sells at the site, not because any monetary authority sanctioned it.
