Oberthur Fiduciaire produces these on the same security paper and with the same intaglio printing used for genuine banknotes, which is precisely the point: the tactile experience of handling what feels like real currency is the product being sold.
A Thailand-themed issue is an odd object — a French-printed, Euro-denominated souvenir with no connection to any Thai monetary authority. Collectible by design, spendable by none.
