Opmerkingen

Oberthur Fiduciaire has produced the bulk of Europe's souvenir zero-euro notes since the format took off around 2015, and this anniversary piece for Sinsheim's Technik Museum follows the same licensing arrangement used by hundreds of French and German tourist sites — the issuing institution pays for the print run, sets the imagery, and sells the notes directly to visitors as collectibles with no redemption obligation whatsoever.

Sinsheim opened in 1981, which makes the 40-year count straightforward to verify against the 2021 date.
