The 0 Euro souvenir note program, administered through a network of European tourist attractions, has Oberthur Fiduciaire as its principal printer — the same Rennes-based security printer that handles currency contracts for dozens of sovereign states. That the same production line processes both legal tender and commemorative novelties says something about how seriously the format is taken from a counterfeiting-resistance standpoint, even when the face value is nil.
Technik Museum Sinsheim holds one of the largest collections of civil and military aircraft in Europe, including a Concorde and a Tupolev Tu-144 displayed side by side — the only place on earth where that comparison is possible outdoors.
