EuroSouvenir notes are legal-tender novelty issues authorized under a 2012 ECB ruling that permits euro-area member states to produce zero-denomination collector banknotes, provided they are clearly non-fungible. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to full security-paper specification — watermarks, UV-reactive inks, and a genuine eurion constellation — making them technically more sophisticated than many circulating notes from smaller issuers.
Suscinio castle, on the Rhuys peninsula in Brittany, served as the primary residence of the Dukes of Brittany from the thirteenth century until the duchy's absorption into France in 1532. The estate passed through royal hands, fell into disrepair during the Revolution, and was purchased by the Morbihan department in 1966 — a rare case of a regional council rescuing a ducal seat from ruin.
