Oberthur Fiduciaire's involvement gives the series genuine production credibility; the same firm has printed official currency for dozens of central banks, and the security specifications here, including the hologram strip, mirror those applied to commercial banknote contracts.
The brown bear (*Ursus arctos*) was extirpated from most of Western Europe but retains a viable wild population in Finland, estimated at roughly 2,000 animals — one of the healthiest in the EU.
