| Opmerkingen |
Kyösti Kallio served as Finland's fourth president from 1937 to 1940, resigning in December of that year after suffering a stroke — he died of a heart attack at Helsinki railway station the same day he stepped down. His tenure coincided almost exactly with the Winter War, a fact that weighed heavily on him personally. The 0 Euro souvenir series issued by LEBM are collector items with no tender function, printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire to genuine euro-format security specifications including UV-reactive features and microprinting, which has made the series surprisingly difficult to dismiss as mere novelty merchandise.
