EuroSouvenir notes occupy a peculiar niche — legal tender for zero, produced by a licensed security printer under official ECB-sanctioned specifications, sold as collector items at tourist sites across the eurozone. Oberthur Fiduciaire handles much of the production, which means the paper, inks, and security features are genuine banknote-grade, not novelty reproductions. The Finnish Glass Museum in Riihimäki, housed in a building purpose-designed for the collection in 1981, is one of the few institutions globally dedicated solely to glass as an industrial and artistic medium — a reasonable subject for a country whose design industry built much of its postwar international reputation on glassware.
