Opmerkingen

Euro Banknote Memory is a French commercial enterprise that produces zero-euro souvenir notes — legal novelties, not legal tender — under a licensing arrangement with the Banque de France, which grants authority to apply the euro format to collector issues. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of Europe's principal security printers, handles production, which means the physical quality of these souvenirs matches genuine currency in paper feel and intaglio finish.

Sigismund III Vasa ruled Poland-Lithuania and Sweden simultaneously from 1587, though his Catholicism and political maneuvering eventually cost him the Swedish throne in 1599. His reign saw Warsaw replace Kraków as the de facto royal capital — a shift with consequences that outlasted the Vasa dynasty by centuries.
