The 0 Euro souvenir note program, run under the EuroSouvenir licensing framework, has been producing collector pieces for European tourist attractions since 2015. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints the entire series to genuine banknote security specifications — including genuine cotton-blend substrate and UV-reactive elements — which is the point: the notes are legally valueless but physically indistinguishable in construction from circulating currency. Sea Life Benalmádena, on the Costa del Sol, is one of hundreds of attraction issuers in the scheme.
