Reverse description The reverse carries the standard Euro Souvenir programme design, with six iconic European architectural monuments arranged across the note in guilloche underprint: the Brandenburg Gate (Berlin), the Tower of Belém (Lisbon), the Eiffel Tower (Paris), the Colosseum (Rome), the Sagrada Família (Barcelona), and the Manneken-Pis (Brussels). A vignette of the Mona Lisa is positioned to the right, and the printer's imprint appears in the lower margin.

The 0 Euro souvenir note program was launched around 2015 by the UESR as a collector-oriented product sold at tourist sites across Europe. Each note is printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire to genuine Euro security specifications — proper intaglio, UV-reactive elements, a valid EURion constellation — making them technically indistinguishable in production quality from circulating currency, despite carrying no legal tender status anywhere. The Saint-Tropez issue sits in a long run of French Riviera tourism notes; the town has appeared in multiple regional variants since the program expanded its French coastal coverage.

Oberthur holds the exclusive printing contract for the series. No other security printer has produced UESR issues.
