EuroSouvenir's zero-denomination collector notes are legal novelties — technically valid euro format, printed to European Central Bank specifications by a licensed security printer, but with no monetary value and no issuing central bank behind them. Oberthur Fiduciaire's involvement gives the series its credibility: the same Chantepie facility that prints genuine banknotes for multiple sovereign issuers also produces these. The Puente Nuevo at Ronda, spanning a 120-metre gorge in Málaga province, was completed in 1793 after its predecessor collapsed killing several workers during construction.
