The Pont d'Avignon — properly the Pont Saint-Bénézet — survives today as a four-arch fragment of what was once a twenty-two-arch span across the Rhône. Most of the bridge collapsed in a series of floods during the 17th century and was simply not rebuilt. The 0 Euro souvenir program, administered through EuroSouvenir and printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire, has issued these notes as licensed tourist collectibles since 2015, with individual sites commissioning their own runs. Legal tender in no jurisdiction, face value nil, but printed to genuine euro security specifications — watermark, security thread, and all.
