The Victory Boogie Woogie was unfinished at Mondrian's death in February 1944 — small pieces of coloured tape still dot the canvas where he was still working out the composition. EuroCollections International issued this commemorative zero-denomination note through Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few security printers with both the equipment and the licensing agreements to produce collector notes that pass UV and infrared authentication checks identical to circulating euro issues.
The note has no legal tender status anywhere, which is the point — it circulates purely as a collectible, a category the ECB has never formally prohibited but also never endorsed.
