| 备注 |
The 0 Euro souvenir note program launched commercially around 2015, with Oberthur Fiduciaire in Rennes handling the bulk of early production runs. These notes are legal curiosities — denominated at zero, they carry no redemptive value but are printed to genuine banknote specification, including watermarked paper, as a deliberate nod to authenticity rather than novelty.
La Coubre lighthouse, on the Charente-Maritime coast, stands near the site of the 1960 munitions ship explosion that killed over 75 people — one of the deadliest peacetime disasters in postwar France.
