| 备注 |
The Cité Frugès in Pessac was designed by Le Corbusier between 1924 and 1926 at the commission of industrialist Henri Frugès, who wanted a model workers' housing estate built from his sugar-refining profits. The project was radical enough that local authorities initially refused connection to the municipal water supply. By the time UNESCO inscribed the site as part of its 2016 Le Corbusier World Heritage listing — the same year this note was issued — decades of resident modifications had altered most of the original interiors beyond recognition.
Oberthur Fiduciaire printed the broader 2016 souvenir zero-euro series under license from the Eurosouvenirs program, giving these notes genuine security paper and features despite carrying no monetary value.
