| Obverse description | Central vignette shows the Marsupilami with her three cubs (Bibu, Bobo and Bibi) cradled in her arms, rendered in vivid comic-art style. The Parc Spirou logo incorporating Spirou and the Marsupilami appears at right, introduced in 2019. Denomination "0" appears twice within the underprint, flanking the main vignette. |

The 0 Euro souvenir note program, administered under EuroSouvenir licensing, uses genuine Oberthur Fiduciaire security paper and production techniques — the same house responsible for printing banknotes for numerous African and francophone central banks. The result is a collector item that is technically indistinguishable in manufacture from circulating currency, which is precisely the point and the reason the series has attracted serious philatelic attention since its launch around 2015.
Marsupilami, created by André Franquin in 1952 for the Spirou et Fantasio comics, became the anchor character for Parc Spirou Provence after the park opened in 2018 near Monteux, Vaucluse.
