Eurosouvenirs' zero-euro souvenir program launched in France around 2015 and has since been printed almost exclusively by Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few security printers with the ECB-licensed technology to replicate genuine euro banknote security features — including the intaglio printing that gives these notes their characteristic tactile surface. Collectors should note that Oberthur assigns each site its own serial number prefix, making variety tracking relatively straightforward within the series.
Parc Saint-Paul, the amusement park in Oise, is among hundreds of French leisure attractions to commission an edition. The park's prefix and print run figure, if documented, are the primary differentiators from the dozens of contemporaneous 2023 issues.
