Honfleur has been a persistent subject for souvenir printing — the harbour town's association with Impressionist painters and its photogenic timber-framed Lieutenance gateway make it one of the most-issued subjects in the EuroSouvenir programme. Oberthur Fiduciaire, which handles the bulk of the series, produces these notes to genuine security printing standards despite their zero face value, including intaglio elements and UV-reactive features that mirror those found on circulating issues.
R. Faille's signature as CEO places this squarely in the post-2020 management era at Oberthur.
