The zero-euro souvenir note program, administered under license from the European Central Bank, has been running since 2015 — Oberthur Fiduciaire holds the exclusive printing contract and applies the same security features used on genuine euro banknotes, including the eurion constellation and UV-reactive inks. The notes are legal in design but carry no monetary value and are never tender.
Naturoparc is a wildlife park in Alsace. The single signature belongs to Richard Faille, the commercial architect behind the souvenir note concept itself.
