The zero-euro souvenir note program, administered by the European Banknote Memory Organisation and printed exclusively by Oberthur Fiduciaire, has produced hundreds of these collector pieces since 2015. They carry no monetary value and are legal nowhere — the appeal is entirely philatelic and touristic. This one commemorates the museum dedicated to Louis de Funès in Saint-Raphaël, opened in 2021 in the villa where the actor spent the last years of his life before his death in 1983.
