| Reverse description | A composite vignette assembles iconic European architectural landmarks across the full width of the note, rendered in a purple-toned multicolour print: the Torre de Belém (Lisbon) at far left, the Brandenburg Gate, the Roman Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower at centre, the Sagrada Família (Barcelona), and the Manneken Pis statue (Brussels) at right. A vertical strip of colour-shifting security ink appears at centre, overlapping the Eiffel Tower vignette, and a faint portrait watermark is visible at the far right margin. The 'EURO SOUVENIR' logo in orange and white is printed at lower right, with a ring of gold and red stars arching across the upper field. |

The zero-euro souvenir note program — overseen by the European Banknote Memory Organization and commercially distributed through partner sites — has produced hundreds of these collector pieces since 2015. They carry no legal tender status but are printed to genuine banknote specification by licensed security printers, Oberthur among the most active. The format exploits a gap in EU regulation: nothing prohibits issuing a denominated instrument that cannot, by definition, be counterfeited for financial gain.
The Mozarthaus in Salzburg, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in 1756, is one of the most visited house museums in the German-speaking world.
