Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg is the world's largest model railway exhibition, and this souvenir zero-euro note commemorates its Antarctica section — a layout that required custom cold-weather engineering to keep the mechanisms running inside a climate-controlled sub-zero environment. Zero-euro souvenir notes have been produced by Oberthur Fiduciaire since the format was introduced in 2015, deliberately incorporating genuine euro security features — including the EURion constellation and UV-reactive inks — to make counterfeiting commercially pointless while giving the notes tactile legitimacy.
