| Obverse description | The vignette portrays an Antarctic scene with a modern research vessel and researchers aboard a motorboat in the foreground, set against a backdrop of a historic sailing ship locked in polar ice. The composition evokes the isolation and grandeur of the Antarctic continent, rendered in a multicolour illustrative style typical of Euro souvenir issues. A guilloche underprint in cool tones frames the central imagery, with the denomination '0 EURO' and issue details arranged around the borders. |

Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg is the world's largest model railway exhibition, and this souvenir zero-euro note commemorates its Antarctica section — a layout that required custom cold-weather engineering to keep the mechanisms running inside a climate-controlled sub-zero environment. Zero-euro souvenir notes have been produced by Oberthur Fiduciaire since the format was introduced in 2015, deliberately incorporating genuine euro security features — including the EURion constellation and UV-reactive inks — to make counterfeiting commercially pointless while giving the notes tactile legitimacy.
