EuroSouvenir's zero-denomination collector notes are a French-originated scheme that gained formal backing from the European Central Bank for design compliance, allowing them to mimic genuine euro aesthetics without constituting legal tender. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the handful of security printers trusted with actual euro production, handles the series — which gives these pieces a level of technical finish that distinguishes them from typical souvenir scrip.
