Opmerkingen

Maison forte de Reignac, a fortified cliff dwelling carved into the limestone of the Vézère valley, is one of the more unusual visitor attractions in the Dordogne — inhabited continuously from the Middle Ages into the 19th century, the structure is essentially a manor house built into the rock face rather than on open ground. The 0 Euro souvenir format, administered by the UEMC and printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire using genuine banknote security features, has become a reliable revenue stream for heritage sites across France since its launch around 2015.

Oberthur's involvement gives these notes proper intaglio printing and embedded security thread — overqualified for a souvenir, but that's precisely the point.
