EuroSouvenir notes were first produced in 2015 as legal-format collector pieces — dimensionally and materially identical to genuine euro banknotes but denominated zero, placing them firmly outside currency law while trading on the familiar feel of real paper money. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the primary security printers behind actual euro production, handles the series, which gives these souvenirs a level of technical authenticity that novelty printers simply cannot match.
Le Grau-du-Roi's Seaquarium, on the Languedoc coast, is among the larger aquatic parks in southern France — a reasonable subject for a regional souvenir issue.
