| Obverse description | Aerial vignette of the La Coupole dome structure at Helfaut-Wizernes (Pas-de-Calais), a World War II bunker constructed by Nazi Germany between 1943 and 1944 as a launch base for V1 and V2 rockets, now serving as a museum and 3D planetarium. The denomination '0 EURO' appears in the lower portion alongside the 'EUROSOUVENIR' designation and the year '2021-2', with the inscription 'Fusée V2' referencing the site's wartime purpose. The note bears the signatures 'R. FAILLE' and 'C.E.O. UEBZ' in the lower margin. |

The zero-euro souvenir note is a purely commercial product, issued since 2015 under a scheme approved by the European Central Bank, which permits their production provided they carry no legal tender status. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to the same security specifications as circulating euro notes — including intaglio printing and embedded security threads — which is either reassuring or absurd depending on your position on the format.
La Coupole, near Saint-Omer in the Pas-de-Calais, is a wartime V-weapon bunker converted into a history museum and planetarium. The Germans never completed it before liberation in 1944.
