| Obverse description | The face of the note presents a composite cityscape vignette uniting several Cologne landmarks across its width, including the Gothic twin spires of Cologne Cathedral, the Kranhäuser crane-house ensemble, the Hohenzollern Bridge, the equestrian statue of Frederick William IV, the colourful facades of the Old Town, the 4711 perfume house, the television tower, and HA Schult's winged automobile sculpture atop the City Museum tower, all rendered in the graphic style characteristic of the EuroSouvenir series. The large denomination numeral '0 EURO' is integrated into the design alongside the series identifier 'EUROSOUVENIR 2023-6' and the year '2023'. Guilloche underprint elements frame the overall composition in the manner of genuine euro banknotes, with the issuing authority designation and facsimile signatures of R. Faille and C.E.O.
