The EuroSouvenir 0 Euro program, administered through licensed regional distributors and printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire in Chantepie, launched commercially around 2015 and expanded rapidly into tourist markets across the eurozone. These notes are legal in format — produced to genuine euro dimensional and security specifications, including watermark and hologram strip — but carry no redemption value whatsoever. The Cologne issue is one of hundreds in the series, differentiated only by its subject and the distributor behind it.
