EuroSouvenir notes occupy a peculiar corner of numismatics — legal-tender denomination, zero value, sold as tourist items. The program is licensed through an arrangement with participating eurozone central banks, which allow the "0 Euro" face value precisely because no monetary regulation is triggered. Oberthur Fiduciaire handles most of the series, bringing genuine banknote-grade production — including holographic security strips — to what is essentially a commemorative slip.

The Hundertwasserhaus in Vienna is a logical subject: one of the most-visited buildings in Austria, designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and completed in 1986 as a municipal housing project, its irregular surfaces and rejection of straight lines made it internationally famous almost immediately.
