| 表面の説明 | Central vignette presents a colour photographic reproduction of Strečno Castle ruins set against a warm sky, occupying the right two-thirds of the note. To the left, a large intaglio-style zero denomination numeral is set over a guilloche underprint, with the EU flag at upper left and the series code "2022-2" below it. Star rosettes and the "EURO SOUVENIR" block appear at lower centre, with the signatory facsimile and serial prefix at lower right. |

Euro Souvenir notes are produced under a licensing arrangement with the European Central Bank that permits the "0 Euro" denomination specifically because it carries no monetary value and cannot be confused with legal tender. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints the entire series under strict security-paper specifications — the same house responsible for banknotes issued by numerous sovereign central banks — meaning the anti-counterfeiting architecture on a worthless souvenir note is, by any measure, excessive.
Strečno Castle, perched above the Váh River gorge in northwestern Slovakia, was deliberately left in ruins by the Habsburg administration after the Thököly uprising of the 1670s. It was never rebuilt.
