| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central vignette presents a detailed engraved panoramic view of Šariš Castle (Hrad Šariš) perched on a rocky hill above a riverside town, rendered in reddish-purple tones over a fine guilloche underprint. The EU flag appears at upper left, with the large intaglio "0" denomination numeral to its right. Latin inscription "Superioris Hungariae civitas & propugnaculum" accompanies the castle name "ZAROS" above the vignette. |

| Opmerkingen |
EuroSouvenir notes are legal tender in the technical sense — the European Central Bank tolerates them as collector items with a face value of zero, meaning they satisfy no debt and circulate nowhere. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to genuine euro security standards regardless, with the same substrate and intaglio work used on actual currency. Hrad Šariš, a ruined 13th-century fortress above Veľký Šariš in northeastern Slovakia, was largely abandoned after a fire in 1660 and never rebuilt.
