Euro Souvenir notes are a licensed collectible series produced under an agreement with the European Central Bank that permits their manufacture provided they carry a zero denomination — making them legally non-negotiable while borrowing the visual grammar of genuine euro currency. Oberthur Fiduciaire holds one of a small number of authorised production contracts for the series, printing them with real banknote-grade security features including the holographic strip, which keeps them superficially indistinguishable from circulating notes at a glance.
The Haus der Natur in Salzburg is one of Austria's older natural history institutions, founded in 1924.
