备注	The Grotte Cosquer is a genuinely unusual subject for a souvenir note — the cave itself sits entirely underwater off the Calanques coast near Marseille, its entrance submerged since the post-glacial Mediterranean rise roughly 10,000 years ago. It was discovered by diver Henri Cosquer in 1985 and contains Palaeolithic paintings dating back over 27,000 years, most of which remain inaccessible without scuba equipment. A replica, the "Villa Méditerranée" site in Marseille, opened in 2022 — the same year this note was issued, almost certainly timed to coincide with that opening. Oberthur Fiduciaire produces the entire EuroSouvenir program under licence, applying genuine security printing techniques to what are legally non-circulating collectibles.
