Opmerkingen

Souvenir zero-euro notes are a French collector phenomenon that began around 2015, with Oberthur Fiduciaire securing the dominant share of the print contracts. UECY acts as the licensing intermediary between tourist sites and the printer, a model that keeps individual issue quantities deliberately low — typically 5,000 to 10,000 per design — which is most of the reason collectors treat them as genuine limited editions rather than novelties.

Gordes's association with the Bories — dry-stone corbelled structures whose construction technique predates written records in the region — makes it one of the more defensible choices in a souvenir series that has occasionally stretched its subject matter thin.
