The Raving Rabbid souvenir note was issued in connection with Futuroscope's Rabbids attraction near Poitiers — one of the more commercially aggressive tie-ins in the UECP's expanding souvenir program. Oberthur Fiduciaire produces the entire EuroSouvenir series under license and applies genuine security features, including a holographic stripe, despite the notes carrying no legal tender status anywhere. The zero-denomination format was a deliberate sidestep of EU regulations that prohibit private entities from issuing anything resembling valid euro currency.
