Futuroscope's souvenir zero-euro notes are issued through the Eurosouvenirs programme, which licenses the euro banknote format for collector pieces that carry no legal tender status but must meet strict ECB visual standards — including the use of fictional architectural imagery to avoid confusion with circulating currency. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few security printers certified for this work, handles production at their Chantepie facility near Rennes. The "Mission Bermudes" release ties to one of the park's immersive ride experiences, making it a themed collectible rather than a commemorative in any documentary sense.
